Codeinefree has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to assist with the Coronation Street producers in the "Joe's Addiction" storyline which is currently running on ITV 1. We feel that the entire area of this type of prescription dependency is understated and that people can easily fall into this type of addiction cycle without understanding what is happening to them. By helping the producers, we hoped to educate and raise awareness to the simple fact that this could happen to anybody in just about any walk of life.

We feel that the producers and writers of Coronation Street have done a terrific job of portraying what could happen to any person.
