What an amazingly successful year!

During 2009, Codeinefree has been at it's most "Pro-Active". The amazing opportunity of being able to assist with the Coronation Street Joe's Addiction storyline was one of the three real high points for CodeineFree. Secondly came the RCGP/SMMGP conference where we interacted directly with GP's and other professionals on the front line as it were. And last but by no means least was the good relations with the PAGB and the changes to patient information leaflets, box outer warnings and the up-coming British Pain Foundation information leaflet to help raise awareness to painkiller dependency. The PAGB wish to launch this next year from the CodeineFree stand number 7 at the RCGP/SMMGP conference in Glasgow!

Unfortunately, we have to say our goodbye's to Jeff, one of our resident Pharmacist. Jeff has been on the board for over two years and was asked to help in the Open Surgery a little over a year ago. As he has now retired, he has voluntarily withdrawn from the Pharmaceutical Society and can no longer help in this capacity.

On behalf of all the Admins and Mods, we would like to thank Jeff for making himself available to help us and hope you enjoy your retirement. Please don't become a stranger to us though!

So we would like to wish everybody a very merry christmas and a happy new year!

Kind Regards,

Adrian, Claire, Clare, Julie, Mark, Simon and Sue.
